It was just announced today on Fox News and via an AP story that Obama is going to turn down General McChrystal's  request for 40,000 more troops for the war in Afghanistan but will give the OK for an increase of  20,000 troops. This is all unofficial as I write this but within minutes of the news report a Freeper (someone who posts on FreeRepublic.com ) who goes by the name ecomcon gave a brilliant title to the less than satisfying Obama decision:

This is a 10 day moving average version of Rasmussen's Presidential Approval Index Poll. It compares those who Strongly Approve of Obama's performance to those who Strongly Disapprove. Right now the Strongly Disapprove side is ahead by about 7 to8 points.

Rio de Janeiro got the nod for the 2016 Olympics beating out Madrid, Tokyo and the last place finisher - Chicago. Looks like another Big O for Big O. Here is what the Brits had to say about it:

Another gem from Rasmussen. This time it's ACORN.

Only 15% of voters now have even a somewhat favorable opinion of ACORN, while 67% have an unfavorable view of the group. Those figures include only three percent (3%) with a very favorable opinion and 47% with a very unfavorable view.

Eighty-five percent (85%) of Republicans, 73% of voters not affiliated with either major political party, and 44% of Democrats have an unfavorable view of ACORN.

Liberal voters are evenly divided—35% favorable and 38% unfavorable. Eighty-two percent (82%) of conservative voters give ACORN unfavorable marks along with 60% of political moderates.
