Sarah Palin gave the keynote speech at the Tea Party Convention in Nashville on February 6, 2009. The highlight of the speech for me was when she said: "How's that hopey, changey thing working out for ya?". Now that is a classic. You can see another version of the video and also read the transcript of the speech HERE.

The first day of the book tour was  a big suceess, an unprecidented success for the launch of a book tour in my humble opinion.

Here is the Sarah video from Grand Rapids. Click the play button to play it here or double-click on the thumbnail to watch it directly on YouTube. You'll get a bigger version on Youtube and you can double-click again on the YouTube video to go full screen if you like.

Amazing: Palin’s book number one on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble bestseller list; Update: “It is truly unprecedented”

Forty-eight days before the release and she’s already topped Dan Brown’s latest conspiracy-theory casserole at both top retailers. To put that in perspective, note that the book doesn’t even have a cover yet. So much for the Page Six hit piece about demand for her being slack.

From Sarah Palin's  Facebook Page:

After all the rhetoric is put aside, one principle ran through President Obama’s speech tonight: that increased government involvement in health care can solve its problems.

Many Americans fundamentally disagree with this idea. We know from long experience that the creation of a massive new bureaucracy will not provide us with “more stability and security,” but just the opposite. It's hard to believe the President when he says that this time he and his team of bureaucrats have finally figured out how to do things right if only we’ll take them at their word.
