This is a picture of Haim Harari who is, per Wikipedia, the Chair of the Board of the Davidson Institute of Science Education at the Weizmann Institute and Chair of the Management Committee of the Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust in New York.

Here is a speech that he delivered at a meeting of the International Advisory Board of a large multi-national corporation, April, 2004 that is worth reading start to finish. It was posted in full on Free Republic some time later. It summarizes the problems we have with the Islamic world in much more concise way than I have previously seen. Well worth reading.

It was just announced today on Fox News and via an AP story that Obama is going to turn down General McChrystal's request for 40,000 more troops for the war in Afghanistan but will give the OK for an increase of 20,000 troops. This is all unofficial as I write this but within minutes of the news report a Freeper (someone who posts on FreeRepublic.com ) who goes by the name ecomcon gave a brilliant title to the less than satisfying Obama decision:
