On Saturday, May 30 at 9 a.m. at Tri-City Park in Placentia, hundreds of people just like you are showing their commitment to "adding tomorrows every day" to the lives of Joshua and Lukas and others with Cystic Fibrosis through the simple act of walking.
For the last two years, The Garberg Force GREAT STRIDES walk has been both fun and successful. Our team's dedication has helped GREAT STRIDES become one of the country's most effective and efficient fund-raising efforts. Since the first GREAT STRIDES walk The Garberg Force joined in 2007, our team has earned over $56,000 to support the vital research and care programs of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Our team has been blessed with 100 walkers in 2007 and an amazing 120 turned out in 2008 to walk along Joshua and Lukas in their commitment to rid the universe of Cystic Fibrosis. We realize that difficult economic times make donations even more difficult this year, however, don't forget that you can make an incredible donation just by showing up and walking - and bringing friends and family. Knowledge is power and the more people that know and understand CF, the better off our children are going to be.
Please join our team or make a donation:

I've decide to make a major change to the way StittFamily photos are handled. From now on the Photos link on our StittFamily.org webpage will link to a Picasa StittFamily website. The photo albums that are already on the StittFamily.org website will still be accessible but you will have to click on the "Old Photos" link. The "Photos" link will go to the new Picasa website.
Anyone in the family who wants to post photos to the StittFamily Picasa webpage can do so by logging on to
picasaweb.google.com/stittfamily5
using the stittfamily5 email address for gmail.com and a password that I will provide.
Right now the only albums on the new photo page are from Papa's 90th Birthday party and Christmas at Todd & Marni's. Give them a look. You will see that navigation through the photos is much better than what we have been using on StittFamily.org
Here is the link to the new Photo Page: picasaweb.google.com/stittfamily5
I ran for V.P. and Won!!!!!
You can see our "Best People Shots" from the 2008 Alaska cruise here: Best People Shots
If you want to copy a photo you should use this version of the viewer. Just click on a thumbnail to bring up a larger version and then click on the "original" link at the bottom of the photo. This will bring up a fairly high resolution version that should be good enough to print.
There is a lower resolution but faster to navigate version of the full album here: Best People Shots - Flash Viewer . Same photos, just in a different format.
The first one in the Gallery is the best of the bunch. Grams, looking good at 86.
Just ran across this on the Internet. Simply amazing.

Thank you to everyone who has joined The Garberg Force this year. In 2007 our team was made up of over 300 friends and family members all dedicated to helping Lukas (4) and Joshua (6) and the 30,000 other individuals in the US fighting Cystic Fibrosis! Our team earned over $30,000 - in which 90 cents of every dollar goes to things that will directly help our boys.
Here's some things to know for this year:
We will be meeting at Tri City Park on Saturday, May 31.
Please try and be there by 9:00 a.m. for a team photo. (Note 9:00 not 8:15 as previously sited).
We will be wearing "The Garberg Force" t-shirts from last year.
We will be selling t-shirts if you'd like to purchase one. (They will be around $10 with proceeds going to CFF).
If you don't have a t-shirt, groups are encouraged to wear their team jersey, school t-shirt, etc.
PLEASE, PLEASE provide us with a list of anyone you have received donations from so we can personally thank them.

We are so excited about this year's walk! Joshua and Lukas are understanding more the significance of this walk and are thrilled to see so many classmates, teammates, friends and family. You have no idea how much it means to our entire family!
While you are on this site, be sure to check out "photos" to see what our guys have been up to lately - and check out photos from 2007 Great Strides Walk!
Again, thank you, thank you, for helping us to help our little boys!
Lots of love and appreciation,
Kristen and The Garberg Force
You can find some really nice new photos of Grams right HERE and HERE. These were taken on April 12th, 2008 during Jeff & Todd's visit to Carmel.
Today i am reviewing a book called, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" It is Greg Heffley's 7th grade journal. It is the first of a Five-book series. The first three books are based on the original online version (but only #1 and #2 have come out) on www. Funbrain.com. The last two are the further adventures of Greg's first few years in High School. Now, the first book is about Greg's first year in middle school. In the beginning, Greg reviews all the things that happened during his summer. It goes on to tell you why Greg has been avoiding his friend, Rowley. It also tells you about Greg and Rowley's horrible Halloween night. After a week has gone by, the boys join the new wrestling unit at their school, and Greg ends up having to go against the skinniest, but toughest, and most annoying kid EVER, Fredgely. Then, in the middle, Greg has to try out for the school's winter play, I'm sure you've all heard of it, "Wizard of Oz", and ends up being a tree. He gets to peg an apple at Dorothy, (Greg hates the girl who is playing her) but he has to sing. (Which he thinks is a bad thing.) Then a horrible Christmas for Greg hits! Thanks for reading and look out for Part 2!
My friends and I are in a talent show for our school tomorrow and the skit we are doing is ,"Who's playing Romeo". This is the cast:

Gavin Houghton as Shhh- "SHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Dylan Valdez as Here-"How'd ya know my name?"
Ryan Broadwater as Huh- "That's me, how can I help you tonight?"
"This skit is awesome!"
- Kristen Garberg
"Okay, that was good, can you do it again?"
- Emily Houghton
" Could ya get off the computer? I have work to do!"
- Kristen Garberg again
I hope you like the comments and the cast! See ya!

This morning , my father was baking a cake for my lunch dessert. He accidently baked it too hot and the whole house burnt up in flames. I just barely survived and you may have not heard all the rucus because of you fixing your beuty and such. Once I got on my way, my bike blew a hole in the tire and I had to walk. I used a super secret shortcut but got abducted by aliens on the way. the asked me deections to the nearest Olive Garden and I gave them fake directions to the nearest, "We hate aliens" club. Once I got to the sidewalk by our school, a universety princible told me he urgently needed me for a short 4-hour lecture. i couldn't refuse. Now, I'm here. And that's why i'm late for school. The El Dorado High School Class of 1983 will NOT be having a 25th reunion this summer. Based on input from our classmates, we think we'll have a better turnout at our 30th reunion if we wait until then. Please keep in touch with us regarding your contact info, so we know where to find you when we start planning in 2012 - for the 2013 event!
We look forward to seeing you! Kristen
