Just a reminder. Click on the Photos link in the left menu section right under "Papa's New Book" and it will take you to our new photo page.
Or you can just click HERE.
I've decide to make a major change to the way StittFamily photos are handled. From now on the Photos link on our StittFamily.org webpage will link to a Picasa StittFamily website. The photo albums that are already on the StittFamily.org website will still be accessible but you will have to click on the "Old Photos" link. The "Photos" link will go to the new Picasa website.
Anyone in the family who wants to post photos to the StittFamily Picasa webpage can do so by logging on to
picasaweb.google.com/stittfamily5
using the stittfamily5 email address for gmail.com and a password that I will provide.
Right now the only albums on the new photo page are from Papa's 90th Birthday party and Christmas at Todd & Marni's. Give them a look. You will see that navigation through the photos is much better than what we have been using on StittFamily.org
Here is the link to the new Photo Page: picasaweb.google.com/stittfamily5
You can see our "Best People Shots" from the 2008 Alaska cruise here: Best People Shots
If you want to copy a photo you should use this version of the viewer. Just click on a thumbnail to bring up a larger version and then click on the "original" link at the bottom of the photo. This will bring up a fairly high resolution version that should be good enough to print.
There is a lower resolution but faster to navigate version of the full album here: Best People Shots - Flash Viewer . Same photos, just in a different format.
The first one in the Gallery is the best of the bunch. Grams, looking good at 86.
Just ran across this on the Internet. Simply amazing.

You can find some really nice new photos of Grams right HERE and HERE. These were taken on April 12th, 2008 during Jeff & Todd's visit to Carmel.
Here is one of Al Gore's least favorite cartoons:

I hate to push Todd & Marni's project off the top of the page but I just couldn't resist posting this little gem that I ran across on the web.

I've added a couple of new photo galleries:
Jeff & Carolyn are just back from their 31 day cruise from Los Angeles to Sydney aboard the Regal Princess. It was great fun with great friends, great scenery and (mostly) great weather.
Jeff shot over 1400 photos and nearly 5 hours of video. You can see the best of the photos in the LA to Sydney 2007 photo album.
The fast Flash View version is HERE.
The slower but higher resolution version is HERE.
And you can see a video of one of the few tough days we had as sea HERE.
If you just want to browse the photos use the Flash View version. If you want to download a photo you should use the high resolution version and click on "original" at the bottom of the photo.
The photo below is from Jeff's snorkel trip on Bora Bora. Those little dark things in the water are sting rays. Fortunately they were quite friendly. So was the 6 foot shark that was cruising nearby.

In case you forgot, there is a wedding coming up on August 18th. And the girls held a shower for Marni a couple of weeks ago.
You can see the photos here: Marni's Shower
We have a posted a short video that you can see at: Marni's Shower Video
You can see the same video posted here: Marni's Shower Video
And we even have the Carolyn Love photos of the shower that are posted here: Carolyn Love Shower Photo Album
Mark your calendars. Skylar will be 6 years old on Monday July 2nd. Check out the photos from his birthday party that was held at his school just before summer vacation.
We are back from our trip to the South. Knives, alligators, plantations, antiques, parks, rain, thunder, lightning, Gone With the Wind - we saw it all. The photos have been posted and you can see them here:

Well it's official - the former Lisa Stitt is now Lisa Roman.
Ruppert and Lisa tied the knot in a gorgeous evening garden wedding held at the Botanical Gardens in Palm Springs. The bride and groom and most of us stayed at the Villa Royale Inn. It is a stunning place and is the former estate of Sonja Henie who was a world champion ice skater and famous actress from the 30's and 40's and at one time one of the 10 richest women in the world. We swam, we partied, we had a ball and Rupert, Lisa and Skylar had the best time of all. You can see it all in the 300+ photos we have uploaded to the Rupert & Lisa Get Married Album.
Click HERE to see them in the high resolution one at a time version with thumbnail previews.
Click HERE to see them in the faster Flash version.
The Garberg's Pool is finally done. Click on the photo to have good look at Jakob, Josh, Lukas and cousin Skylar on their first day of swimming in the new pool.
Just stare at the little cross and you will see something very strange: A green dot will appear and then all of the purple dots will disappear. But if you glance away, the purple dots will reappear. Tell Jakob it's magic.
A couple of items that you should know:

Our guy Skylar hit two home runs in his very first official T-Ball game. As expected I might add. The kid can play baseball. Click on the photo below to see all the pictures from the big game.
Skylar had his first day of T-Ball practice today. No surprises. He is a natural, gifted athlete and it showed. He should make a great baseball player. Click on the photo to see the full album.
The pool is coming along. Click on the photo to have a look at the pool before, during and after the gunite operation. There's also some cute shots of Lukas.
Saturday March 10th is Uncle Greg's BIRTHDAY and we don't want him to forget it. To commemorate this event I've added a little album of shots from the far distant past titled:
Just click on the photo (yes that is indeed Uncle Greg - with our dog Champ) and it will beam you up to a few memories from a long time ago.
Construction on the Garberg Pool and Stitt Kitchen is continuing, hopefully not forever. You can see the latest photos HERE.
You can find the latest shots of the Garberg Swimming Pool Construction Extravaganza HERE.
I'm thinking that maybe an underwater wedding might be a good idea. The bride and groom could certainly handle it. If you want to see what they're looking at you will have to go to the photo gallery. It's right HERE.
