Today i am reviewing a book called, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" It is Greg Heffley's 7th grade journal. It is the first of a Five-book series. The first three books are based on the original online version (but only #1 and #2 have come out) on www. Funbrain.com. The last two are the further adventures of Greg's first few years in High School. Now, the first book is about Greg's first year in middle school. In the beginning, Greg reviews all the things that happened during his summer. It goes on to tell you why Greg has been avoiding his friend, Rowley. It also tells you about Greg and Rowley's horrible Halloween night. After a week has gone by, the boys join the new wrestling  unit at their school, and Greg ends up having to go against  the skinniest, but toughest, and most annoying kid EVER, Fredgely. Then, in the middle, Greg has to try out for the school's winter play, I'm sure you've all heard of it, "Wizard of Oz", and ends up being a tree. He gets to peg an apple at Dorothy, (Greg hates the girl who is playing her) but he has to sing. (Which he thinks is a bad thing.) Then a horrible Christmas for Greg hits!
